Ascending the Hill!

Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD?
And who shall stand in His holy place?
(Psalm 24:3 ESV)

Last Thursday, I went to the Temple Mount or Mt. Moriah. The one place in all the earth that God says His glory will dwell forever. It was amazing, my words cannot even begin to explain what was happening in my inner being.

But when we got on top I felt that I was truly home, I had been Jerusalem right at a week but no place felt like the Temple Mount. I have only lived for 26 years but I know that when the Messiah returns I will rule with Him for a millennium on this mountain. It was exhilarating, I was filled with such joy and peace unlike I have ever felt. I was standing where Yeshua had stood over 2,000 yrs ago, where the Angel of Yahweh stopped Abraham from sacrificing Issac, where again the Angel of Yahweh pointed to David for Solomon to build the Temple. But most importantly, it is where Yahweh says His glory will dwell with men.

Many seemed to be disturbed by the Muslim structures on the Temple Mount. But what can the the things of man do when God shakes them. The Lord laughs in derision at the attempts of man to stop His plans.

At that time His voice shook the earth, but now He has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” This phrase, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of things that are shaken—that is, things that have been made—in order that the things that cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.
(Hebrews 12:26-29 ESV)

I plan to visit the Temple Mount many times during my time in Israel, for truly His presence will meet me in the place He will dwell forever.

Blessings and Shalom

Learned not earned!

We earn nothing in the Kingdom, but we must learn certain things.

Go and LEARN what this means, ‘I desire MERCY, and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” ~Matthew 9:13 ESV

Take My yoke upon you, and LEARN from Me, for I am GENTLE and LOWLY in heart, and you will FIND REST for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” ~Matthew 11:29-30 ESV

“From the fig tree LEARN its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you KNOW that summer is near. So also, when you see all these things, you know that He is near, at the very gates. Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. ~Matthew 24:32-35 ESV

Truly, we do not know these things and they do not come automatically. We have to learn them: mercy and how much God delights in it; humility and contentment; discerning times and seasons. Lord, teach us these things.
